I always get the same sandwich because it is sooo good. I am sure there are other tasty sandwiches there too.Small update which knocks my rating down one star. I went there yesterday after biking at DTE and had my heart set on my favorite sandwich. We walked in the door and went to the counter to order and the person there said "we closed at 3:00. I wasn't sure what time it was so we left but when I got back to my car, it was 3:02, which means we probably entered the store a little before or right at 3:00. I could understand if it was 10 min after but the cutoff seemed too strict.

OMG! Wow! What a great find!The sandwiches are amazing and they have everything you would want. What makes a good sandwich good? BREAD! and they have good stuff! I love this place and will stop by anytime that I am near Chelsea.

Best Sammies around. The stingray add LTO is one of my favorites. Also, the honey mustard is bomb sauce.

The deli is an institution in chelsea and loved by almost all. They do have. Day here and there but for the most part you wont go wrong. I have had almost everything on the menu and the stingray is my favorite. Give them a shot.

This is an excellent small deli with some wonderful and original combinations of sandwiches and soups. Think NY deli but better. They specialize in their own combination of original sandwiches with Chelsea hometown flair. They change some menu items occasionally as they experiment with new flavor combinations, while keeping the favorites on their standard menu.

Great place for a great sandwich. Menu combinations are incredibly flavorful. My favs are the Wolverine and Stingray. Staff is great.

My family and I have been eating here for a long time! They have amazing food! My brother is up from Georgia and this was his request to get his favorite sandwich (Flamethrower), none of us objected to this idea. Can't wait to get our order placed today! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants amazing quality sandwiches with fresh ingredients and meat.

Excellent food. Wish they were open later. Drove over an hour to Chelsea just to go to Mike's for dinner one evening, not realizing they close at 4. Had to settle for 52 BBQ (oh darn, lol)...

Beyond horrible and rude!!!! Kicked us out the store very rudely then laughed about it would never recommend this place to anyone! WISH YOU COULD GIVE A ZERO STAR!!

Always good. Never had a bad experience here. Been about 20 yrs of excellent sandwiches at this shop for me.

Nice place and wait staff. My sandwich was unremarkable and was not a "deli" sandwich. Instead it was "assembled" from pre-sliced and packaged items.

I've searched all over the country for a better Turkey Rueben. #39 on Challah beats them all.

Best deli around. I'd argue that its better than Zimmerman's which has priced itself out of the 'deli market'. I like the #4

Had the #6 today. Wasn't impressed. Meat was good but the sub bread was dry and flavorless. Regular slice of bread and some mayo would have been better.

Mike's Deli is a simple Sub shop which serves quite the best ever subs and sandwiches (and soups). Now open weekends so really there is no excuse not to go there and do your soul a favor and eat there. Chelsea has no shortage of eateries and this is a must. Go, eat and be happy. I now need to wait another year for the annual visit.
